Buttercream Frosting
This is a classic buttercream frosting recipe, perfect for decorating cookies, cakes and anything else you can think of! You can leave the frosting plain white, or add food coloring to make it any color you need.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds (about 5 cups) powdered sugar
- 2 cups (4 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1/3 cup milk
- 3 teaspoons vanilla or almond extract
- Food gel coloring
Instructions
Step 1
Place powdered sugar, butter, milk and extract in bowl of electric mixer. Using paddle attachment, blend.Step 2
Mix in food gel coloring until frosting reaches desired color.Step 3
