Asparagus Crostini with Butter Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 bunch asparagus, cut into 2-inch pieces, tough ends discarded
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt to taste
- 1 small baguette, cut into 1/2-inch slices
- 1 8-ounce wheel brie, at room temperature, sliced thin
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- Juice from half a lemon
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced almonds, lightly toasted
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.Step 2
Arrange asparagus on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Lightly season with salt; bake 20 minutes.Step 3
Remove asparagus from baking sheet and set aside. Place baguette slices on baking sheet; top each with 2 slices brie; bake 10 minutes or until cheese has softened.Step 4
Meanwhile, combine butter, lemon juice, lemon zest, and garlic in a small bowl; season with salt.Step 5
