Ingredients

  • Chicken Wings

  • 2 pounds chicken wings, tips removed, drumettes and flats separated
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • Salt & pepper
  • Buffalo Sauce

  • 1 cup hot sauce
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Add salt to taste
  • For Serving

  • Ranch dressing
  • Celery sticks

Instructions

Chicken Wings

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and set wire rack inside.

Step 2

Spread chicken wings on prepared pan and brush with butter. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 3

Bake the chicken wings for 50 minutes, flipping halfway. The chicken wings should be crispy and golden brown when fully cooked.

Buffalo Sauce

Step 4

While the chicken wings bake, combine hot sauce, cubed cold butter, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper and garlic powder (and salt to taste!) in a saucepan over medium-low heat.

Step 5

Bring to a simmer and stir to melt the butter, about 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool, allowing the sauce to thicken. Stir once more.

Step 6

Place the baked chicken wings in a large bowl, adding the buffalo sauce and tossing together until fully coated.

Step 7

Serve your classic buffalo wings with ranch and celery sticks, and enjoy!
