Homemade Buffalo Wings
Nothing pairs better with chicken wings than a gorgeous tangy and spicy buffalo sauce. The secret to a perfectly rich and silky smooth homemade buffalo sauce? Real butter!

Ingredients

Chicken Wings
- 2 pounds chicken wings, tips removed, drumettes and flats separated
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- Salt & pepper

Buffalo Sauce
- 1 cup hot sauce
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Add salt to taste

- Ranch dressing
- Celery sticks
Instructions
Chicken Wings
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and set wire rack inside.Step 2
Spread chicken wings on prepared pan and brush with butter. Season with salt and pepper.Step 3
Bake the chicken wings for 50 minutes, flipping halfway. The chicken wings should be crispy and golden brown when fully cooked.Buffalo Sauce
Step 4
While the chicken wings bake, combine hot sauce, cubed cold butter, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper and garlic powder (and salt to taste!) in a saucepan over medium-low heat.Step 5
Bring to a simmer and stir to melt the butter, about 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool, allowing the sauce to thicken. Stir once more.Step 6
Place the baked chicken wings in a large bowl, adding the buffalo sauce and tossing together until fully coated.Step 7
