Puffed Rice Bars
                                        These wholesome puffed rice bars come together quickly with sweet and salty flavors from sunflower kernels and honey.

Ingredients
- 5 cups puffed rice cereal
- 1 cup sunflower kernels, roasted and salted
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar, lightly packed
- 1 cup honey
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Step 1
Combine puffed rice and sunflower seeds in large bowl; set aside.Step 2
In small saucepan, melt butter. Once butter is foaming, add brown sugar, honey, and cinnamon. Simmer over medium heat 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla extract. Pour mixture over rice and seed mix, and stir using a wooden spoon until cereal is coated. Press mixture into a buttered 8x11-inch baking dish. (Use wet fingers to help with the pressing!)Step 3
